Robert is an ag student at Blue Mountain Community College who was born and raised in Prosser, Washington. He grew up on a small farm where he began to develop an interest in growing plants with his father and seven older brothers. In his early teenage years, Robert farmed and harvested onions for family friends on the Horse Heaven Hills of South Eastern Washington along the Columbia River. He loves sitting behind the steering wheel of a tractor and helping coordinate the harvest season. Working with the agricultural industry has always been Robert's dream and he hopes to have his own farm one day.
Robert loves to work with people and help them whenever possible. If he doesn't know the answer, he will connect you with someone who does or research it himself. He wants to help local producers and land owners improve their land through various strategies that have been proven effective. After work, Robert enjoys working on his project pickup, playing guitar, and being with those closest to him, including his wife Emma.
